The past few weeks have been exam period here at Leeds University, which means that I've been doing a lot of procrastination, which has turned into strips for my new comic, Special Level. I'm building up a buffer, because these comics take a lot more time and energy to draw, and I want to make sure I can maintain an update schedule before I start publishing them online.

The problem with drawing so many comics that are drawn in the same way TK is, but that are far more complicated, is that when I came to draw this comic, I'd completely forgotten some of the rules I use to draw Totally Kotor - what mouths look like was my big problem. I was also appalled to see how plain TK looks compared to my shiny new Special Level artwork - while I know a lot of people don't want this comic to finish, I really do feel it's time to move on and draw something ambitious. I forecast there's maybe two weeks left in the comic now: four strips, and that's it.

As far as Runt's genius plan goes, I was planning this from the beginning - or at least for a while. Runt and Candy figured out Kreia was behind things after Kavar told them the secret history of their parents. Candy used makeup to make herself look worn out and evil. If you zoom in on her brush, you'll notice the foundation she's applying is the paler skin colour. Atton was affected because he's an idiot - his problems were psychosomatic. They told HK the plan, and he tagged along when Kreia and Candy left the Ebon Hawk. Runt, knowing Kreia had left Hanharr the naughty wookiee onboard as a spy, pretended to fall for her trick, giving Candy enough time to make a detour to pick up her old lightsaber, so that HK could have a believable battle with Runt and Candy could remain armed. HK switched with Candy at the point where "Candy" starts wearing the Sith mask. You might notice that HK at no point in the battle used the Force, but he did his fair share of throwing Runt around (in the comic, blue lines show use of the Force, but grey lines mean normal movement).

I think I've basically explained everything. Any questions?

You ROCK! That's a complicated and well-thought out plot twist that I wouldn't expect from a 3-panel spoof comic. Well done!
