Thanks everyone!
I hope this shows up okay. If anyone's having trouble seeing it, let me know.

Well, that's that. The end. Totally Kotor in finished. It's hard to believe, and it's sad, but it's time to move on and try new things. Thank you so much to all of you for supporting me through all my work on this. It's been almost five years to the day that I first started posting these online, and I've grown a lot as an artist as a result.

In the wake of death, life comes also. By this I mean, I hope you all will read my new comic, Special Level, which starts today. Yes, that's right, I'm giving you two comics for the price of one today. Excitement. This new project means a lot to me, and I hope you'll all continue to read my comics in the coming years.

A word about the final comic here - not the poorly made animation that follows the credits, but the comic itself. I've always been thinking about how to end TK; I'd always known that the end of the Kotor II storyline would end the comic, and the finale went through several drafts in my mind. Originally, Runt and Candy were only finally going to get together right here at the end. Then Runt was going to propose to Candy. Ultimately though, I like this ending best, because it's not really an ending at all. Runt and Candy are still going to go out and have adventures, they might ultimately settle down together and they might end up having an enourmous fight and killing each other - who knows?! It doesn't really matter - their adventures will no doubt continue forever. Plus, there's the little matter of The Old Republic. While I am fairly certain I won't return to making parody comics for Star Wars video games, I can't promise not to; and I certainly can't promise not to return to telling stories about Runt and Candy after the inspirationt that game will provide; although I may choose a different setting and a different world in which to tell the stories. I quite like the idea of taking our favourite duo with me when I leave the George Lucas sandbox, and returning to them some time in the future.

For now though, they must bid you adieu. I'd like to take this moment to thank a few people: special thanks go out to G.S.P.C.G Rep for his constant support and for running the website during my two-year sabbatical; to InverseReality whose friendship has made this all worthwhile; to Vagrant Samurai, The Big Cheese, Son of the Shire, Inara, headshot!, Supposed To Be Working and all the rest of the wonderful forumites; and an extra special thanks goes out to all of you who read the comic, whether you comment or not, for your continued support.

Stay tuned for news about the book I'm working on. It's sadly very low down my busy priority list at the moment but I expect it'll be finished in the next six months or so, and when it is I'll post details here.

All that's left for me to say is good bye, and may the Force be with you.

I don't know how Disciple ended up stranded in the desert, but I sure am glad it happened.

Great comic: it shall be missed.

I read every comic and never posted a comment... Much enjoyed, sad it's over and I shall indeed check out special level. Thanks for entertaining me frequently. =]

I have enjoyed this comic, and while I am sad to see it end, it is a great ending. I will make sure to follow your new comic as long as it is on the net.

And the animation wasn't crappy. It looked very good actually.

And may the force serve you well Kotor!

That was truly epic, Canny. Awesome job. (The classic Star Wars credits at the end both surprised and delighted me.)

I recently re-read this series, and it's truly astounding how much you've improved since it started. I wish you even more laughs and enjoyment on Special Level, which I will also be following.

It's been a great ride.

(Also, I have a bit of TK fan art planned...don't know when I'll be able to get around to it, but I just wanted to let you know that there was a reason, oh so long ago, that I asked in the forum for a list of TK original characters.)

They should make a third KOTOR just for this comic to continue.

Krin-Krea (Guest), February 5th, 2011, 3:17 pm

I've been reading this for the past few years and while this constant might be gone it has been a brightening point in my day. Thanks for giving all of us something to enjoy and now off to start Special Level.

Jedigal16, February 5th, 2011, 10:24 pm

it was great fun! :D I hope some time you can make more with runt and candy :). I will be reading your new comic!

Garra (Guest), February 6th, 2011, 12:54 pm

Did any of you think that Bastila´s grin in the last bit of the animation was a bit creepy?

MK (Guest), February 7th, 2011, 12:17 am

Thanks for years of laughs! May the force be with you! :P

-D- (Guest), February 7th, 2011, 2:16 pm

This was a better ending than the actual game! (at least the second one!)

Thank you!

Persephone (Guest), March 21st, 2011, 1:41 pm

Wow, that end of a KOTOR game sadness all over again. This would be the point where I'm sad its over and decide to play something else, close the application, then open it again to play dark side!

Your movie killed my internet for five minutes, but worth it. K2 totally needed that movie at the end.

I'll miss this comic :-(

darthcrazzy77 (Guest), April 23rd, 2011, 3:09 am

i cant believe it's over.oh well time to read it all over again!

Tenkage, May 1st, 2011, 8:19 pm

Epic Ending
That was perfect, the story, the characters, everything. Until Knights of the Old Republic 3 comes out, goodbye

AndrossTh, May 14th, 2011, 6:05 am

Yayz! and not yays. While I'm sad that the comic ended i'm also happy that it ran so long, and that the characters are more than likely to return.:) well Runt and Candy are most likely. Any way I'm really glad we do get to see something other than kotor, I mean I think it is important for kotor(auther) to try something else, and do what he wants.

Funnyjunk (Guest), August 5th, 2011, 12:04 pm

KOTOR, I love these comics, I started reading them about a year ago and have re-read them all numerous times, with your permission, i would like to take these and spread them around the internet.
So others can see them.

Canada (Guest), August 5th, 2011, 12:13 pm

So many things are ending this year, the final harry potter movie, the final inheritance book is coming out, and now I lose a comic strip that I have loved for years, if I could, i would pay you for all the joy you have brought me
