It's been a good four years.
Can you believe 2006 was so long ago? Crazy. Personally, having been in a time capsule from 2007 to 2009, I regularly feel confused by the date - how did we get to a new decade already?

I suppose TK's birthday was actually back on the 21st of February, but I only just realised, and thought now was as good a time as any to celebrate. I also wanted to take the chance because it's probably the last full year of TK - I expect by this time next year, Runt and Candy's adventures will be wrapped up and finished with. Sorry, but it's getting to be time for me to try new things.

Speaking of new things, as part of the birthday celebration, I'd like to announce a brand new comic: Totally Crossover. Someone mentioned a spin-off in the comments section last week, and they were actually right!

Totally Crosssover is a crazy new one-year project that might well kill me, as it means more than doubling my current comic output. The premise is simple: gaming webcomic. But I've always been one who enjoys telling stories, so I decided to mix up the formula a little. The story follows dear old Commander Shepard, who in this incarnation is an arrogant jerk, as he travels across the galaxy, building his super-team. This team will consist of the stars for eleven major game releases in 2010 - one every month.

But it's already March, so I'm a little behind. That's why I'm participating in March Madness, a fun challenge where I draw a new comic every day in March. Totally Crossover will update every weekday, and Totally Kotor will continue updating every Monday and Friday. Totally Heroic will update when I can be bothered (which isn't very often).

So, yay! Happy Birthday TK, and Happy Birth TC!

So did you have to redraw the candy from the past or just insert the one from the present?

I went back to my original copy of the very first comic and digitized New Candy in next to Old Candy.

When I say "digitized", I mean copy-pasted. Such are the simplicities of working in Flash.
