I like to see supporting characters getting a few romantic victories where they can, when the main characters aren't hogging the limelight.

Psst. It's spelled "realized". Hurry, before anyone notices!

Ahh! I noticed!

ARRGHHH! I noticed too!

Wow, someone points an error, and it's not me. Which means I get to say this;

The author is from the British Isles, not the US. "Realized" may not be the way he learned to spell the world.

Remember, the internet is international. Differences between English dialects happen when you're an ocean apart.

In America it is indeed "realized". However, in the rest of the English-speaking world it is, "realised" (Occasionally Canadians get lazy and spell it in the American style).

Painting toenails, huh??

Thank you to those who defended my Anglican spelling. These little things are always a challenge for me - I'd spell it one way, but if the character's American (or sounds it at any rate), shouldn't they have the American spelling?

With this one, I hadn't even "realized" Americans spell it differently. Live and learn.
