Drew Karpyshyn T Shirt

What kind of faithful Bioware fan would I be if I couldn't display my allegiance on my chest?

See, after watching the Mass Effect 2 launch trailer on continuous repeat for several days, it dawned on me that my love of Kotor has grown from being "I love this Star Wars, and RPGs are great" to "I love Bioware, and Star Wars is a fun setting for one of their epic stories". This change being the case, I felt I could no longer call myself a Star Wars fanboy, and decided that I needed to start telling people that not George, not Joss Whedon, but in fact, Drew Karpyshyn is my master now.

Who's that, you ask? He was the lead writer on Mass Effect and one of the lead writers on Kotor. He wrote the Darth Bane novels and the Mass Effect novels. He's the man. The next convention I go to, I'm wearing this T-shirt to tell the whole world which flag flies in my house.

If you feel the same, you're welcome to buy one too.

I think I'll try again at making some fun T-shirts, so maybe I'll make some cool new designs soon. Any suggestions?

Have you thought of creating TK styled clothing?

I doubt Lucasfilm would allow it, since his characters are Star Wars characters. Remember Madolin, and her attempt to do the same? She got a "cease and desist" letter from Lucasfilm when she tried to sell merchandise for her "Darth Mad" character.

Madolin actually got a cease and desist?!

Lame, Lucasfilm, very very lame. All we wanna do is play in the sandbox, all you big kids wanna do is pee in it then rub our faces in the sand.

(By "pee" I specifically mean the Clone Wars cartoon)

Yeah, Mad got a cease and desist for her attempt to sell Darth Mad merch. That's the reason she stopped her Darth Mad comic entirely.

What I figure is that she tried to sell her stuff without the permission of Lucasfilm. I'm sure if you got the permission of Lucasfilm, as well as a cut of the profits, you'd be allowed to sell merchandise.

I wouldn't quote me on that, though.
